CASE STUDY: The Sunny Pint
The Sunny Pint is a bright, welcoming, and fun taproom located outside the Villages in Florida. It boasts 36 taps, featuring one of the largest selections of Floridian craft beer in the area, as well as freshly handmade food items such as gigantic soft pretzels, soups, salads, and flatbreads.
The Sunny Pint approached us to create a complete brand startup package that includes brand identity, signage, stationery, environmental graphics, social media, collateral, and a website. The Sunny Pint concept is rooted in the Irish tradition of enjoying a Sunny Pint when the sun is shining. This tradition serves as a perfect fit and inspiration for a bright, invigorating, and welcoming new brand. At Alarie Design, we couldn’t resist a Sunny Pint, and it’s a perfect match for our team.
We initiated the creative process by using The Sunny Pint’s provided inspiration and sketching multiple logo options. We then executed the logo options and presented them to the client, narrowing them down to the final design above.
After fine-tuning and approval, we adapted the logo to create new exterior storefront signage, which included an illuminated lightbox and channel letters. We always appreciate seeing our clients’ logos come to life in their brand’s spaces. Additionally, we completed the Sunny Pint taproom interior by designing wall graphics and collaborating with the Sunny Pint crew on color schemes and furnishing styles.
The Sunny Pint brand extended to new stationery, social media graphics, crowler labels, and apparel for both employees and customers to show their Sunny Pint pride. With our mission in mind, we aimed to carry the bright and sunny experience throughout all of these pieces, promoting a professional yet fun and lively appearance.
The largest selection of Florida beer on tap experience is incomplete without the right online presence. After fermenting on a new website idea, the Sunny Pint approached us to update their site to align with their brand’s evolving look. We commenced the website project with a strategy session to determine what changes were necessary and reviewed their Google Analytics data to make data-driven decisions based on current user experiences to advance the site. Our objective was to create a bright, inviting, and enjoyable website that serves as an online extension of the Sunny Pint in-store experience, with a live tap list on the site.
Our website process comprised a strategic flowchart, wireframes, design, development, and Q/A. In addition to the new design, we conducted a photo and video shoot to create a library of assets that align with the Sunny Pint brand.
