Toole’s Ace Hardware was purchased by its original owner in 1989. With 11 locations under the Toole name, they are very distinguished throughout the whole Ace Hardware brand. The company concentrates its business in Central Florida, providing general hardware, as well as lawn and garden products. Stores serve individual customers and commercial accounts throughout the area.
The goal of the website was to create something that was not just a huge improvement to what they currently had but was easy and intuitive for users to navigate. Much like the actual in-store feel of being easy and helpful. Since they have 11 locations, we wanted to showcase the different stores by creating dynamic sections throughout the site that geotarget you based on which store you are closest to.
We built the Toole’s Ace Hardware website using WordPress to allow for easy content creation and management. Custom iconography illustrate the variety of services offered by the stores. We also custom-built Store Locator functionality that determines and remembers the user’s local store location, so all of the information displayed is relevant and current.
